Mobile Lymphoedema Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist

Part time | Casual | Extending to full time if desired. Shoalhaven and/or Illawarra.

We are currently looking for therapist who is interested in working within a diverse lymphoedema case load including a mixture of cancer related, chronic oedema, traumatic and dependency oedemas. 

The position is flexible for the right person in order to meet their needs in location and hours. Remumeration is negotiable and the structure can be modified according to what works best for you! 

Essential Criteria:

• AHPRA registered physiotherapist or Occupational therapist
• Completion of ALA accredited lymphoedema level 1 course
• Australasian Lymphology Association accreditation or be willing to apply for ALA accreditation
• Drivers license and have own vehicle
• Minimum 1 year experience working as a lymphoedema therapist
• Experience and confidence in measuring for and prescribing custom and ready to wear compression garments
• Experience with NDIS, work cover, DVA, Medicare and my aged care preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with ENABLE NSW funding scheme for compression garments
• Current CPR and first aid certificate
• Commitment to providing evidence based therapy in client centred model of care
